Froyd: They are intense, but I have never regretted doing them in the past. I look at it rather pragmatically when it comes time to do it. I am simply giving my body a chance to recover from all the crap I force it to digest.

A detox re-calibrates my body back to zero so to speak. I still have to change the way I eat - like you are doing - but with a detox I am giving myself the best shot at success.

Given my lack of discipline, I need every advantage I can give myself. :)

Detoxes frighten me...rather than doing them, I've been upping the amount of fruit/veggies that I consume, plus avoiding anything that lists high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient.

Except dr. pepper. Oh, how I love Dr. Pepper.
