I never had any bedwetters, but once 2 neighbor girls came to our house and spent the night when their mom had a baby...they were about 7 and 8 so I didn't expect the pull-out sofa sleeper to be soaked come morning. I wasn't angry but sure was surprised, since it wasn't mentioned! Fortunately, the sofa cost about $40:) I realized then how lucky I was to have 6 children who trained at 3 and younger with no bedwetting. Sounds like you two handled Emily beautifully. She's lucky to have such good, experienced parents! Very good post!
